According to the IEC standards, the Protection Rating of these products is IP65.Caulking of outer surface and terminal areaIn addition to waterproofing, caulking can be provided for the clearance between the case and the cover, each screw head, inside of the terminal box, etc. so that the product can be protected from damage caused by moisture or damage by salt attack. Caulking, however, is optional, and separately quoted.PaintingThe standard painting method adopted for the product is acrylic resin baking. Anticorrosive resins, such as epoxy resins and epoxy-urethane resins, however, are not painted on the product. These anticorrosive resins can protect the product from salt damage.
